For as long as I can remember, I have been a pretty physically active person. I have done lots of sports in my younger years. My parents always motivated me to play outside, and I loved doing that. I have done soccer, mountain biking, athletics, rowing, boxing and weight lifting. These days, I still love to go out and have a good jog. I’ve done so many sports that I can’t remember them all anymore. I had convinced myself that I had seen pretty much every single outdoor activity under the sun. But then one day I was browsing the web and all of a sudden I stumbled across an activity that was completely new to me.
Right away, I knew that I was going to try this one out. I am talking about hiking, a sport which has seen a big increase in popularity in the last few years. I simply love being out of the house. It’s strange that I had never been out in the mountains before. So I recently went on my very first hike and I was hooked right from the get go.
